Terms & conditions

These terms cover purchases made through kajepana.art, including original artworks and fine-art prints, and any commission request submitted through the website. They are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

• All prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any applicable taxes. Delivery costs are shown before you confirm your order.
• Payment is taken through PayHere at the time of checkout. An order is only considered paid after the payment is successfully confirmed.
• Once a payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation and the studio will begin preparing your order.
• We may cancel an order that cannot be fulfilled, such as when an original artwork is sold before payment is confirmed. In that case any payment received is refunded in full.

Original artworks are unique pieces. Because the originals shown on this website can only be sold once, their availability may change quickly. When an original is purchased, it remains visible in the portfolio but is marked as sold.

Prints are produced to order and may differ very slightly in tone from the digital image shown, as is normal for fine-art printing. Colours may also vary depending on your screen.

Orders are prepared and posted from Sri Lanka. Delivery times are estimates and can vary depending on the destination and courier. Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the order is delivered.

All artwork, images, and text on this website are the property of Kajepana Art and remain the artist's copyright. Purchasing an original artwork or a print does not transfer any reproduction or commercial rights. Purchased works may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.

• A commission request is a starting point for a conversation. It is confirmed only after the studio and the client agree on the subject, size, medium, price, and timeline.
• Once a commission is confirmed and work begins, the agreed payment is non-refundable as described in our return policy.
• Reference images shared for a commission are used only to create the piece and are not published without permission.
• We may decline a commission if we do not believe we can complete it to the standard the studio aims for.

To the extent permitted by law, Kajepana Art is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from the purchase of artworks and prints.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with its date of last update.
